The Atlanta Arts Festival makes its 9th annual return to Piedmont Park on October 24th & 25th. Festival hours run from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome!
Set in the historic Piedmont Park, the autumn festival will have the perfect setting as outstanding artists from around the country feature their exceptional work. Over 200 artists will present their finest photography, paintings, sculptures, leather and metal craftsmanship, hand-blown glass, jewelry, and more! The event will also feature artist demonstrations, classes, and live music and entertainment.
On both Saturday and Sunday, guests can participate in Canvas-By-U, a fun painting class for all ages and skill levels. At the class, skilled artists will guide attendees through the creation of their own masterpieces with step-by-step instructions. Advance registration is available for $20 and includes all supplies.
For the youngest artists, the Lil Artist Alley will feature arts and crafts, face painting, balloon sculpting, sand art, fair hair and more! Adults are also invite to fuel their creativity at the Creation Station filled with fun and inspiring artist demonstrations, art supply sponsor demos, hands-on and collaborative activities, and informative educational sessions by local professional artists.
Entertainment will include live Jazz at the entrance of the festival and on-stage performances throughout the weekend with a variety of music from rock to blues, and bluegrass to reggae. Offering up festival favorites, local food trucks and vendors will be located throughout the park serving burgers, corn dogs, ice cream, BBQ, coffee drinks, Hawaiian noodles, gyros, smoothies, and more!
The festival is dedicated to bringing together outstanding artists from throughout the country with the large and enthusiastic art buying community of the Atlanta area. In addition to the incredible works of art for purchase throughout the park, festival merchandise will be available for purchase from the Festival Store. The event is MARTA-accessible and conveniently located for drivers, cyclists, walkers, and runners alike!
