Dunwoody’s fast-growing Tartan Trot 5K/10K Race returns on Saturday, February 6, 2016! An anticipated 1,500 runners will gather at Saint Luke’s Presbyterian Church located at 1978 Mount Vernon Road. The Tartan Trot 5K / 10K will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., and the 1 Mile will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The Tartan Trot 5k/10k Race features lively bagpipe music as runners are led through scenic neighborhoods right in the heart of Dunwoody. With strollers and dogs welcome at the event, the race is a great way for the whole family to get active and have fun!Children and adults alike are also invited to participate in the event’s 1 Mile Fun Run and Tot Trot. Both the 5K and 10K races are Peachtree Road Race Qualifiers.
Following the race, the Awards Presentation will begin at 10:00 am inside the Great Hall of the church. Awards will be given across a variety of categories, including:
- Top overall Male and Female
- Top overall Male and Female Masters
- Top overall Male and Female “kilt wearing” Finisher
- 3 Deep in 10 and under (5K only), across several age categories

An adult unisex long sleeve performance t-shirt is guaranteed to all runners in the 5K & 10K and 1 Mile if registered by January 19, 2016. 5K & 10K Registration is available for $25 through January 19th, $30 from January 20th – February 5th, and $35 on Race Day. 1-Mile Fun Run registration is available for $15 through Race Day.
Proceeds from the Tartan Trot will benefit St. Luke’s Youth Missions and Outreach Partners.
