The Roswell Arts Festival marks its 28th year as it returns to the historic town square in downtown Roswell located at 610 Atlanta Street. Festival hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20th and from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21st. Admission is completely free, and the festival is open to attendees of all ages!
More than 150 artists from across the Southeast will line the streets of Roswell Square to present an array of beautiful art and hand-crafted items. Past years have included beautiful Atlanta-themed artwork, one-of-a-kind photography, and artisan jewelers featuring gorgeous, wearable creations. Booths for vendors will sit atop the grass beneath beautiful trees, so the festival is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the early Autumn weather!
In addition to the Artists Market, daily performances will feature local singers, dance companies, and various children’s entertainers. Performances begin at noon both days of the festival. Children can also enjoy activities with painting, sand art, and more! Food vendors will also be onsite selling delicious festival food and beverages.
The Roswell Arts Festival is presented by the Roswell Recreation Association, a group dedicated to serving the Roswell Recreation & Parks Department’s needs. Over the years, the committee has contributed significantly to the quality of life enjoyed by Roswell residents. Through money raised by the annual festival, the Roswell Recreation Association has been able to donate over half a million dollars toward the betterment of recreation in Roswell.
Due to limited parking, visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle running from Roswell City Hall to the square. The shuttle will be running for the duration of the festival, and will have plenty of room to store anything that you might purchase. Free parking will also be provided at Roswell City Hall, located at 38 Hill Street.
