The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (ACAC) is celebrating its 41st birthday with the return of this year’s ART PARTY on Saturday, September 13th from 7:00 p.m. – midnight at 535 Mean Street in Atlanta. The party will be unlike any other and is already being revered as one of Atlanta’s top art events of the year!
The party is a multi-media event coincides with the opening of ‘Exquisite Exhibit: Parlour Games’ from the Studio Artist Program. Combined with over 14 carefully curated exhibitions, culinary performances from one of Atlanta’s most dynamic chefs, food and drink from a host of the city’s best bars and restaurants, and unique “exquisite corpse” parlor game, the ACAC will transform into an awe-inspiring sensory experience.
General Admission costs $25 per ticket for members and $50 for non-members. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door for $60 each and include entry into the ART PARTY with a cash bar. Mixologists from Top FLR and The Lawrence will be stirring things up with uniquely crafted cocktails in the VIP Pavillion where Chef Tyler Wilson will also present two culinary performances. Throughout the exhibition, tastings and small bites will be presented from Atlanta’s artful chefs from: Article 14, Bad Dog Taqueria, Campagnolo Restaurant + Bar, Dennis Dean Catering, Eclipse di Luna, HENRY’S Midtown Tavern and Sun in My Belly.
Guests looking for some interactive entertainment can participate in “Exquisite Exhibit: Parlour Games from the Studio Artist Program,” an artful play on the parlour game “Exquisit Corpse,” in which 21 artists from The Contemporary’s Studio Artist Program will join. Explore the artists’ stations throughout the newly renovated gallery space while enjoying live music from El Prez, Trey West, and Santiago.
