The dogwoods are in full bloom, which means it’s time for Atlanta’s official kickoff into Spring! The city’s favorite springtime tradition returns with the 81st Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival.
A staple in Atlanta for over 80 years, more than 260 fine artists and hundreds of thousands of visitors will attend the three-day Festival!
2017 Artists Market
With virtually every type of art, the nationally renowned Fine Artist Market is one of the largest and most diverse juried arts festivals in the country. More than 260 artists from around the country exhibit in 12 categories, including: sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, photography, and much more! In 2016, the Artist Market was ranked #9, out of the Top 200 Shows in the Country by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
Live Blues, Southern Rock, Country, Rock, Pop and R&B music will fill the atmosphere with a full schedule of entertainment on the Main Stage. Highlighting the many international communities that live in Atlanta, the International Stage features professional and amateur performers, children and adults with genres including: dance, singing, martial arts, drumming, and more.
- Children can hop over to the Kids Village where they will discover huge inflatables, arts & crafts, face painting, and the popular 24-foot rock-climbing wall.
- On Family Friday, families can participate in a night on the town with ride tickets and discount offers.
- Even four-legged family members will join the fun! Disc Dogs features designated canines who will wow the audience as they fly through the air in competition.
- The Atlanta High School Art Exhibition gives high school artists an opportunity to compete, exhibit their work and earn prizes such as scholarships and art supplies.
