Through Sunday, January 11th, the Atlanta Fernbank Museum of Natural History brings festivity to the holiday season with its Winter Wonderland exhibit!
With over two stories of twinkling, beautifully decorated trees, the Winter Wonderland exhibition showcases celebrations from all around the globe in this enchanting display. More than 30 trees and other displays recognize the diversity of celebrations, holidays, traditions and events from around the world. Immerse yourself in the festivity of the season among twinkling with lights, glimmering with color and shining with a variety of cultural objects.
Alongside the Winter Wonderland exhibition, guests can also enjoy a variety of special holiday programming!
At the greeters station, be sure to ask for the Winter Wonderland Seek & Find, a free, self-guided activity throughout the exhibit:
- During Martinis & IMAX, adults can enjoy the exhibit during evening viewing hours while enjoying music, films, small plates, a nip from a yuletide toddy, and more!
- During Holly Jolly Activities, families are invited to enjoy a variety of unique, engaging activities together. Enjoy family-friendly holidays movies with your children, including favorites such as A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and many more. Join in on a sing-along in the Star Gallery for continuous screenings of Disney’s Sing Along Songs: Very Merry Christmas. Children will also love visiting the holly-jolliest dinosaur of them all, Fernbank’s Santa-saurus. And don’t forget to stop by the Puppet Making classes where kids will make their own puppets, compliments of the Center For Puppetry Arts.
- Purchase a Value Pass and add tickets to the critically-acclaimed film Jerusalem for two experiences within one extraordinary visit!
