restaurants, located less than two miles north of Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza. We also have great local spots too! In Village Park, building on their successful Haven Restaurant, owners Michel and Tonya Arnette, added Valenza, a fabulous upscale Italian treat! Across the street, Village Place Brookhaven is now open. The new coffee shop, The Library Coffee Company, is a big hit! With a warm, cozy fireplace, it’s a great place to gather with friends. Close by, Terra Terrior Grille & Wine Patio is another favorite with fresh fare and robust selection of beer and wine. Hudson Grille in Brookhaven Station is a lively sports bar and restaurant with a fun casual feel! Next door you’ll find Mellow Mushroom and Pub 71. Around the corner, in historic Chamblee, try Vintage Pizza. More shops and restaurants are on the way! Just south of Oglethorpe University, construction is underway for TOWN: Brookhaven. Brookhaven Bolt – The 2009 Brookhaven Bolt will be held May 16th, 2009. Proceeds from this family friendly 5k benefit Ashford Park Elementary. Last year $19,000 was donate! - Brookhaven Arts Festival - Each October, Apple Valley Road, located behind the Broohaven MARTA station, comes alive with art, crafts, music, food and fun! Sponsored by the Brookhaven Arts Allliance.
- Brookhaven Tour of Homes & Gardens - Benefiting Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities and held each October.
- Taste of Brookhaven – This popular event was cancelled in 2008. Sponsored by the Brookhaven Arts Alliance, we hope to see Taste of Brookhaven soon.

- Murphy Candler Park, 1551 W Nancy Creek Dr. 135-acre DeKalb County Home of Murphey Candler Baseball, Murphey Candler Fast Pitch and Atlanta Colt football. There is also a playground, pool and lake.
