Barks, Beers, and Beethoven is on two dates this year; Friday, May 17 and Thursday, May 23, 2013. The event takes place at the Piedmont Park Dog Park located on the east side of the park, just past the end of Park Drive NE. The hours on both nights are from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Atlanta’s favorite dog park will host two evenings of music, vendors, and tail-wagging fun! The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will be performing on the promenade and guests will enjoy the live music from the dog park and surrounding area. Just outside the dog park, several local pet shops and vendors will have booths set up for shopping and tips about pet care. Attendees will receive a wag bag filled with coupons and other goodies.
Also near the dog park, food vendors will be serving food and drinks for the two-legged patrons. Each event ticket includes a drink ticket, and guests ages 21 and up can enjoy a cold beer while listening to the live music and watching their pup play. Additional seating will also be provided for guests who wish to sit outside of the dog area.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $15 or two for $20. Tickets are sold per dog, and members of the Piedmont Park Conservancy can get a discount on their ticket. At the door, tickets can be purchased for $20 per dog, or two for $25. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Proceeds from the event benefit the Piedmont Dog Park.
