In celebration of Centennial Olympic Park’s 20th Anniversary, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority is lighting up the Park with the Southeast’s first Chinese Lantern Festival!

The winter event will illuminate South Park, bringing the park alive each evening with colorful decorations. Constructed by artisans from China, the handcrafted decorations include 25 lanterns, a three-story pagoda, and a 200-foot-long Chinese dragon.
Each night, craftsmen will be stationed throughout the Park offering everything from edible sugar dragons to Chinese paintings. Nightly entertainment features dancers, acrobatics, theatre performances, and more!
While visiting Atlanta’s crown jewel, explore Centennial Olympic Park as it transforms into a Winter Wonderland! At Holiday in Lights, take a lap around the 115-by-64 foot ice rink, warm up with a hot cocoa or festive treat, and explore the park as it’s adorned with thousands of sparkling lights.
Entrance to the Festival is at the corner of Andrew Young International Boulevard and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Tickets are available at the door and online, and combination tickets are available.
