The Amuse’um Crowns and Cupcakes event is on Saturday, February 23, 2013. The fundraiser event takes place at The Children’s Museum of Atlanta located at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW in downtown Atlanta near Centennial Olympic Park. The hours of the event are from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The Children’s Museum of Atlanta will be celebrating it’s 10th birthday with their 10th annual fundraiser. This year’s event is called Amuse’um 2013: Crowns & Cupcakes – A Birthday Jubilee, and the theme is inspired by enchanting childhood dreams of royal fun and games.
The museum will be decorated and transformed into a whimsical, adult-only royal court filled with kings and queens, dukes and duchesses. Guests are even encouraged to wear a crown to celebrate the museum’s “royal” birthday. The evening will be filled with live music, food, drinks, games, and an auction. The popular 70’s cover band, Yacht Rock Revue, will be performing and food will be provided by Soiree Catering and Events. Of course, we can’t forget about the Cupcake part of the event! Delicious cupcakes and treats for dessert will be provided by Smallcakes a Cupcakery.
A portion of the evening will also be dedicated to honoring those who individuals who have dedicated their time to serve on the museum’s Board of Directors over the past 10 years. These individuals will be celebrated for their hard work and commitment in helping to make The Children’s Museum of Atlanta a welcoming, educational, and fun place for all families.
