The 10th annual Dream in Green Gala will be held Sunday, February 26th at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History located at 767 Clifton Road in Atlanta. The event will take place from 6:30pm to 10pm.
This is the signature fund-raising event dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of Atlanta’s historic Olmstead Linear Park. One of Atlanta’s most visible parks, it runs along Ponce De Leon Ave in the Druid Hills neighborhood, and the Fernbank Museum is the perfect setting for the gala since it’s located on the northeast side of the park.
This year’s event will have an Italian flair from the sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and dinner buffet to the live and silent auctions featuring travel opportunities to Tuscany. The night will be filled with exquisite art, premium wines, music and dancing, and performances by gloATL and the Atlanta Opera! More than 350 local residents from Druid Hills, Decatur, Inman Park, Emory and other influential intown neighborhoods are scheduled to attend.
Tickets are $100 per person and is proceeds clearly go to a good cause. Help preserve history, sustain greenspace and promote healthy outdoor activities while enjoying what is sure to be a wonderful evening. All the proceeds from the event go to the continued maintenance of Olmstead Linear Park.
