Marietta Art in the Park

Where: Glover Park, Marietta Square
Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

The long-loved tradition celebrates the arts featuring local and national artists from around the country. With fun for the whole family, art lovers of all ages will find something to enjoy!

Art:

Over 175 of the country’s finest artists will be celebrated at this signature Marietta event, showcasing a wide range of media including: jewelry, pottery, painting, woodworking, metal, textile, sculpture, glass, photography, and more. Upward of 40,000 festival-goers will shop through the artists’ market, view the famous Painted Pots, and visit Marietta Square’s very own unique shops, boutiques, galleries, and museums.IMG_9472

Food and Libations:

Marietta Square offers an extensive Saturday morning Farmer’s Market, as well as an incredible lineup of local restaurants. Festival attendees can enjoy coffee, brunch, and more at any one of the Square’s charming stops! Soft drinks, water, beer, and wine will also be sold from several vendors onsite throughout the festival.

Kid-Friendly Fun:

  • Chalk Spot: A street chalk art display for aspiring artists from grades K-12. Participants showcase their one-of-a-kind art across a 3-foot square space and receive a 30 count box of chalk, certificate of participation, and a goodie bag.
  • Children’s Art Alley: A free interactive ‘make and take’ area where children use inspiration from the festival by creating their own art!
  • Tiny Tot Town: An area specifically designed for toddlers with small toys, bounce house and crawling tube.

Since 2007, Marietta Art in the Park has been ranked as a Southeast Tourism Top 20 Event. It has continued to be ranked among top craft shows and festivals from noted publications such as the Sunshine Arts Magazine and both the the National and Southeast Festivals and Events Associations.

Admission is free, and dogs are welcome! Free parking will be available for the festival at both Cobb County Parking Decks located by Marietta Square, and ATM’s are available onsite by The Strand Theater.
