The Marietta StreetFest celebrates its 26th year as September’s beloved annual tradition and fundraiser for the Marietta Museum of History. Renown as a Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society, the annual StreetFest features antiques, classic cars, live music, an artist’s market, and more!

Free & Open to the Public!

Marietta StreetFest is a great way to explore the surroundings and unique charm of Marietta Square! Guests are invited to browse the arts and craft booths, stroll down auto alley during the Hubcaps and History Cruise-In, and enjoy free family fun in Children’s Zone. NEW for 2017, military vehicles will be showcased at the Military & Specialty Vehicle cruise-In.

 

The Marietta Museum of History will be also offering free admission all weekend. Complete your day with a stroll through Marietta Square’s eclectic selection of restaurants, shops, and boutiques.

2017 FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES & HOURS

Toy Box Trot Fun Run
Saturday | 8:30 a.m.
The 1-mile Fun Run is open to all ages both young and old and at the completion of the race, each race participate will select a toy of their choice. These toys will continue to encourage active play and serve as a fun memory of the race.

Artist Alley & Jewelry Row
Saturday | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. • Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Handcrafted jewelry and other art will be available for sale from over 75 artisans! Antique dealers across Georgia will gather and showcase their unique collections of fine furniture, home decor, glassware, porcelain keepsakes, bottles, linens, and other one-of-a-kind collectibles.

Hubcaps & History Classic Car Show
Saturday | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Original, restored, and “in process” classic cars, motorcycles, and specialty vehicles will fill the south side of the Square in the 13th annual Car Show!

GrassRoots Music Festival
Saturday | 3:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m. • Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The nonprofit organization was created in 2009 as an outreach program to provide safe, family-friendly events and activities with a special focus on showcasing local talent present in Marietta and surrounding communities. They work to build upon and strengthen the foundation of community pride present today and encourage a pay-it-forward attitude

Kids Korner & Tiny Tot Town
Saturday | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. • Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Bring kids of every age! Big or little, there will be fun crafts, inflatables, and more!

Marietta Museum of History
Saturday | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Marietta Museum of History’s mission is to preserve and display the artifacts from Marietta and Cobb County and their role in world history.  The Museum strives to provide an educational, enlightening, and entertaining experience for all visitors; promote discovery, curiosity, inspiration, and learning for people of all ages, and to partner with the community to help make it a desirable place to live, work, and play.

Farmers Market
Saturday | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. • Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The market offers heirloom vegetables and produce rarely found at any grocery store. Sip on fresh-squeezed lemonade while you shop among local honey, fudge pies, artisan breads, flower arrangements, and more from over 65 local vendors.

Shopping, Dining

Saturday is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a full day from Dawn until Dusk! Kick off Saturday morning with a visit to Marietta’s beloved Farmer’s Market, then plan to spend Saturday evening listening to local entertainment during the Marietta Grassroots Music Festival.

Proceeds from Marietta Streetfest benefit The Marietta Museum of History and their dedication to preserving the history of Marietta and Cobb County by providing an educational, enlightening, and engaging experiences.
