Noon Year’s Eve at Legoland in Phipps Plaza is scheduled for Monday, December 31, 2012. The event is from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with the countdown at 12:00 noon.
The Legoland Discovery Center gives kids the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve without having to stay up past their bedtime. Just a few hours early, at 12:00 noon, Legoland will have a countdown to ring in the New Year. Some of the additional activities include kid-friendly giveaways and New Year’s Eve-themed LEGO builds.
Also at Legoland through December 24, 2012, children will be able to view the large Christmas tree made out of LEGOS. Santa has taken over Miniland, an attraction within Legoland, and there will also be holiday inspired LEGO builds in the Model Builder Academy. Every day through December 24, each visitor to Legoland will be entered into the daily Advent Calendar raffle. At the end of the day, a ticket will be chosen and the winner will receive the prize behind that day’s Advent Calendar door. Some of the prizes include: LEGO sets, tickets to Legoland, and the grand prize of an annual family pass to the Legoland Discovery Center.
Legoland is open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Admission to the Noon Year’s Eve event is included in the general admission ticket. Tickets to Legoland Discovery Center are $14.58 for children ages 3 – 12. Ticket prices for anyone ages 13 and up are $18.46, and children under the age of 2 are free. Legoland highly recommends purchasing tickets in advance online.
