What do you get when the Decatur Beach Party and Brick Store Pub’s 20th anniversary? An exciting beach-themed event now known as Summer City… Where Beach Meets the Streets!

The free community event invites you to celebrate this new take on the Decatur Beach Party featuring live performances, a special Brick Store Beer Garden experience, and of course – sand!

Bogey and the Viceroy
8:00 p.m. | MARTA Plaza
The band consists of New Orleans native Bogey Thornton and the troubadours of The Viceroy, an eight-piece band covering classic soul from every era, along with retro rock/pop and today’s current chart-toppers.

The special Beer Garden will be set up on the street in front of Brick Store Pub with tons of food and beverage specials!
Additional food, funnel cakes, kettle corn, beverages, beer, and wine will also be available for sale. All the restaurants will be open for business and many will serve special Summer in the City menus.
The Gates Are Gone
Traditionally the Decatur Beach Party was a ticketed and gated event. This year, the gates are gone and entrance is free! Some charges may apply for some activities such as the rock climbing wall and souvenirs.
