Atlanta Public School redistricting proposals were released on January 27, 2012. Included are two maps with proposed changes labeled “Plan A” and “Plan B”. Changes are proposed for Sarah Smith Elementary, Morris Brandon Elementary, Warren T Jackson Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Mary Lin Elementary, Springdale Park along with other Atlanta Public School schools.

Atlanta private school application deadlines are right around the corner. Attending an open house is an excellent opportunity to tour the school, meet faculty and staff, ask questions and examine the curriculum. Some public schools also offer open houses for prospective students. Below is a list of upcoming open houses by dates (click on the school’s name for 
more information and application deadlines). If you can’t make it to an open house, you can contact the school to schedule a tour at another time.
