This was an amazing experience

“For me this was an amazing experience if you consider how complicated it could have been with life as we know it. There isn’t a thing I would identify as something that should have happened differently.

A few of the things that were most impressive to me were:

  • Recommendations for service providers – lender, appraiser, inspector
  • Communication style – prompt/concise
  • Hugs – not sure this comes standard or if we got the deluxe package.

Thanks again for the terrific experience. You’ve taken what is normally an extremely stressful situation and turned into one that was actually quite enjoyable. Look forward to tossing back a few bottles of wine with you in our new place.”

Becky was a lifesaver

“Becky was a lifesaver! My husband and I began our house-hunt in September of 2009 with another realtor and, unfortunately, were disappointed with our realtor. After seeing many houses, it seemed that our realtor never narrowed down what we were looking for and thus, we went on a wild goose hunt for many months. We decided to end our search for our dream house until, we happened upon Becky’s website at the end of May 2010. It was very informative, professional, and we were impressed with what we saw. Subsequently, I contacted Becky to meet in person and the rest is history!

During our first meeting, Becky sat me down and went through a listing of homes in our target area and price to get an idea of what we were looking for. Then, she emailed me homes based on our specific wants and needs. She was the consummate professional and ALWAYS available when I contacted her. Because of this, we were able to find our dream home in a matter of weeks and closed on our house in exactly one month. It was definitely a wonderful experience working with her. She is very knowledgeable of the Atlanta area and always one step ahead of what needs to be done.

We just wanted to personally thank you, Becky, for all that you have done for us. We greatly appreciate it and will keep in touch. Thank you!!”

You always had things prepared and ready to go

“Now that the pictures are properly leveled and the house warming party is planned, we wanted to let you know how much we sincerely appreciated your effort, persistence, and professionalism in selling our townhouse. From the beginning, your preparation was evident from the market analysis and presentation you provided for us on how you would effectively market our home to sell, and all completed in less than a few hours after contacting you!

During a slow down in the market and a saturation of town homes in the area, you continued to demonstrate effective marketing and selling techniques through the online feedback tool and relentless follow up with potential buyers. After an offer was accepted (and within 98% of our asking price), and realizing we would soon be homeless with a quick closing, we turned into your clients as buyers! On the buyers side, you again demonstrated your true professionalism understanding our needs and requirements for a new home, Continue Reading »

Great news for Georgia Homebuyers

Georgia residents will reap the benefits of a tax credit up to $1800 for home purchases. The credit which would be taken over three years, became effective on May 11, 2009.. New home owners will be able to take an income tax credit for the purchase of a single family residence. The amount of the credit will be the lesser of $1800 or 1.2% of the purchase price. Taxpayers may claim one-third of the credit available in each taxable year, and may carry forward unclaimed amounts. For first time homebuyers, the state credit would be in addition to the federal tax credit authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signed in to legislation by President Obama earlier this year. The federal credit gives first-time homebuyers a credit equal to 10% of the purchase price, up to $8000. Unlike the federal tax credit, the Georgia credit is not limited to first-time homebuyers, and there are no applicable income limits. The credit is only available to buyers of eligible single family residences who close between June 1 and November 30 of this year. Continue Reading »
