The Embrace Our Green Space Race is on Saturday, March 23, 2013. The event takes place at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church located at 1722 Oak Grove Road in Decatur. Festivities begin at 9:00 am, and the races start at 10:00 am.
This non-competitive family oriented race is fun for all ages! There are several events for all types of levels and skills. There is a 2k fun walk/run, a 5k walk/run, a 10k run, a 10k race for skaters, and 15k bike race. The event is not timed, but is it a great way to meet other members of the community, burn a few calories, and raise money for a good cause.
