The Art of John Lennon is making its debut at the Ann Jackson Gallery located at 932 Canton Street in Roswell. The series of John Lennon’s work will be on display on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, May 31st from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Since 2010, the collection has traveled the country while also appearing worldwide in England, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Hong Kong and New Zealand. Lynne Clifford, Curator of the The Art of John Lennon Collection, will be in the gallery to provide history and insight behind Lennon’s consistent message of love and peace. While most famous for his music, John Lennon was equally a poet and an artist illustrating his celebration of human love and communication throughout the rare and iconic collection.
Adapted from John Lennon’s original drawings, the exhibit’s limited edition prints are available for acquisition. Admission to the exhibit is free; however, a donation of $5 per person is encouraged. Proceeds benefit the North Fulton Community Charities.
