The Atlanta History Center will be hosting its annual event to celebrate Three Kings Day. The holiday and the event take place on Sunday, January 6, 2013. The Atlanta History Center is located at 130 West Paces Ferry Rd, and the event hours are from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Three Kings Day, traditionally celebrated in Spain and Latin American countries, marks the end of the holiday season. The Three Kings Day event at the Atlanta History Center will teach children about this Spanish and Latino holiday and the history that surrounds it. There will be storytelling, music, live performances, complimentary food, and other fun activities for the entire family.
The event is free to the public, but space is limited and it does not include admission to the museum.
Funding for this program is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of Fulton County Arts Council, the Institutio de Mexico, and the Mexican Consulate.
