With a tray yielding a glass of water, a glass of wine, and a split of champagne, participants will race as quickly as possible without spilling a drop! After measuring the liquid in each glass, competitors will be judged on speed, service, and style. Each participant will also be expected to open and pour the contents of a split without spilling.
Following Atlanta’s very first Waiter’s Day Race, Le Bilboquet will host an afterparty at center plaza including live entertainment, an outdoor rose bar by Whispering Angel, food stands, flower cart, and bocce courts.
All proceeds will benefit The Giving Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance grants for Atlanta area restaurant workers facing an unanticipated hardship.
The inaugural event is hosted by Le Bilboquet and produced by The Industry Fund, a non-profit supporting the restaurant industry.
