The Winter Beer Carnival is on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The festival takes place at Atlantic Station located at 391 17th Street NW in downtown Atlanta. The event hours are from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The annual Winter Beer Carnival is a fun event where guests get to taste over 100 beers while also playing carnival games. The festival takes place in the special events area at Atlantic Station and patrons must be 21 years and up to attend this event. VIP ticket holders can arrive at the carnival at 2:00 pm, but the doors open for the rest of the guests at 3:00.
There will be over 100 beers for participants to sample, including: premium craft beers, winter brews, cider beers, gluten-free beers, and more! Commemorative beer glasses are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so get there early if you’d like one. Some of the carnival games featured include: a life-sized Operation game, a ring toss, and other favorites along with some new games. Most of the games are free and there will be prizes available to win at all of the games. Since no carnival would be complete without food, there will also be plenty of food vendors selling delicious eats.
Event organizers have released a limited number of tickets that are available for designated drivers at a discounted rate of $20. For regular General Admission (entry at 3 pm) tickets are $40 per person, and VIP tickets (entry at 2 pm) are $60. There is plenty of on-site parking at Atlantic Station, for about $6 per car. Attendees can also take the MARTA and get off at the Arts Center station and hop on the free Atlantic Station shuttle.
