2014 Party in the Kitchen

Party-in-the-KitchenBringing together Atlanta’s favorite chefs for a wonderful cause, Party in the Kitchen returns for its annual culinary fundraiser. The cocktail-chic event begins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18th in the Event Gallery of the King Plow Arts Center.

Chaired by Chefs Kevin Rathbun and Gerry Klaskala, the evening includes music, cocktails, and exquisite cuisine from Atlanta’s finest chefs and restaurants. A silent auction of fine dining and travel experiences will be featured alongside a live auction where guests can bid on a personal dinner prepared in-home by Chef Kevin Rathbun himself!

The inspired and elegant cuisine will include cocktails and tastes from: Antico Pizza, Aria, Alma Cocina, Bantam & Biddy, Livingston, Local Three, Rathbun’s, SEED, Table & Main, The Optimist, Varasano’s, Veni, Vidi, Vici and Watershed.

Approximately 400 guests from across the Atlanta community will attend this taste-filled evening. Tickets cost $200 and up, and proceeds benefit Open Hand: the nation’s largest provider of home-delivered, medically appropriate meals and nutrition education – preparing, packing and delivering more than 5,000 meals daily (two million meals annually) across Metro-Atlanta and 17 Georgia counties. Open Hand is the only community-based non-profit organization providing Comprehensive Nutrition Care, which combines medically appropriate meals with nutrition education, therapy and coaching for homebound seniors and underserved individuals struggling with chronic, critical or terminal illness.
