Longing for the beach, but don’t want to leave town? The Decatur Beach Party is back, and it’s better than ever! From 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17th, celebrate summer as Decatur transforms Ponce de Leon with 60 tons of sand and a whole lot of fun!
Save yourself the road trip, grab a fruity drink, and enjoy the experience of being in a beach town – All within your very own city! The Decatur Beach Party will feature a bran new Ninja Climbing Wall for ages 13 an older, a kid’s boardwalk, and a food court with everything from festival fare to beachy beverages. Dance on the plaza as Tray Dahl & The Jugtime Ragband opens for the evening’s headliner, Electric Avenue, before closing out the evening with a dance party from one of Atlanta’s own DJs.

- Gate: $15
- *Children ages 4-12 years old: $7 Advance; $10 at the gate.

The Decatur Beach Party is an annual fundraiser produced by the Decatur Business Association (DBA). Proceeds from the event help fund other free community events including: Concerts on the Square, Blue Sky Concerts, Easter Egg Hunt, and the Bonfire & Marshmallow Roast.
