‘Tis the season to twinkle! At Candlelight Nights, step back in time as you experience Christmas past with a candle-lit stroll sure to transport you into the warm glow of the holidays.

The candle-lit stroll guides guests through the beautifully adorned grounds and gardens of the Atlanta History Center. Holiday traditions of years past come alive as guests explore how Southerners celebrated Christmas during the pioneer days, the Civil War era, and the 1930s through the three historic houses.

 Whether you want to hear tales of old, hear caroling and live Christmas music, create something special, or finish your holiday shopping – There is something for everyone!
Holiday Market
The lively Christmas Market welcomes guests with artisanal and local creations. Finish up your holiday shopping with one-of-a-kind gifts from jewelry to mosaic-glass, pottery, sculptures, and more!

Visit with Santa Claus
Grab your camera, bring your list, and get ready to photograph the whole family with Old Saint Nick.

1861 Christmas Tree Lighting
Nightly – 6:00 p.m. | 8:00 p.m. | 9:00 p.m.
Gather round to light the candles on the Christmas tree while enjoying the sweet sounds of caroling!

Food & Libations

Enjoy food for purchase and visit one of several cash bars for your favorite libations. Holiday-themed drinks will be available at each bar on campus, and Souper Jenny will be serving up delicious healthful fare.
