1. The Curious Garden

May 6th – October 29th, 2017
9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The exhibit features 11 site-specific installations created to share a story about the Garden’s plant collections and plant conservation work, prompting visitors to make a discovery, ask questions, and provoke a discussion.

Manmade and altered natural materials are employed to direct the eye to focus on the simple beauty of nature with dozens of multi-colored spray-painted trees, colorful liquids filling scientific lab glassware, and dozens of sparkling chandeliers dripping with plants.

2. Member Preview Evenings

Tuesday · May 2nd | Thursday · May 4th
6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Be the first to view The Curious Garden, a site-specific exhibition by guest artist and designer Adam Schwerner. See pastel painted trees, a serene white garden, and other creations that encourage discovering the Garden with fresh eyes. Guests are also invited to experience the new Skyline Garden featuring new gardens and amazing views of the city!

Evening highlights include live music from Tray Dahl and the Jugtime Ragband, a complimentary treat, family-friendly crafts, and a 20% discount at the Garden gift shop.

3. Spring Woodland Ramble

Saturday · May 6th
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Enjoy the warm spring air of the woodlands, and browse a selection of arts & crafts created by local artisans. The offerings will feature many nature themed items as well as upcycled materials and food trucks. The spring Woodland Ramble Arts & Crafts Market promises to be a fun and relaxing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There will also be food from Big C’s Chicago Pizza, Hot Dog Ninja, King of Pops, and Southern Baked Pie.

4. Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour

A lovely way to celebrate Mom this Mother’s Day! he beloved tour showcases 10 spectacular private gardens, giving gardening enthusiasts the opportunity to explore impressive garden designs! 5. Garden Chef Demos

6. Atlanta Rose Show

7. Wine in the Woodlands

Last Thursdays | May – October

Sip on wine while taking in the tranquility of the Garden! Escape to the beauty of the 5-acre Garden, carefully designed with a detailed palette of plants including spring magnolias, billowing hydrangeas and brilliant maples. Explore the Overlook, Stream and Glade gardens, each with their own unique features.
