    Explore the biology of invertebrates and vertebrates through biofacts and live-animal encounters. 
  • Amazing Animals Lab
    Discover some remarkable evolutionary traits and the biological machines inside all living things in this science lab. Investigate more natural evolutions and biomechanics in Fernbank’s new special exhibit, Amazing Animals: Built to Survive.
  • Scientific Human Board Game
    Become a game piece as you race to the finish in this life-size board game featuring scientific “challenges.”
  • Seismology
    Study the science behind earthquakes in this interactive Seismology program presented by Robotic Explorers. 
  • Tree Climbing Demo
    Watch, listen and discuss with a member of New Urban Forestry as they scale some of the tallest and oldest trees in Atlanta.
  • Science Bingo
    As you wander throughout Fernbank, keep an eye out for scientific devices, phenomena and terms that will help you complete this self-led bingo.
