  1. Cocktails in the Garden
    Thursday | May 23rd
    Start the weekend early on Thursday evening! Atlanta’s most beautiful cocktail party features specialty cocktails, live music and entertainment, games, and an after-hours look at The Curious Garden! Throughout Cocktails in the Garden, guests are also invited to make dinner reservations at the beautiful Garden restaurant, Longleaf.
  2. Brew at the Zoo
    Saturday | May 25th
    The favorite Memorial Day tradition turns 11 years old! With more bands, brews, and bubbly than ever, guests will enjoy up-close encounters of nearly 1,400 animals from around the world. The fun continues with the game truck, ping pong, inflatable ski ball, cornhole, giant Jenga, bocce ball and three-hole mini-golf.  
  3. Decatur Arts Festival
    Friday – Sunday | May 24th – 26th
    Kick off the Festival with the opening Gallery event on Friday evening before a weekend filled with food, art, and more! Browse and shop through the competitive Artists Market, explore the Kids’ Arts Festival, and enjoy everything the heart of Decatur has to offer throughout the weekend.

    Whether you’re looking for a movie indoors or under the stars, we have a comprehensive guide of all the movies happening in each neighborhood all Summer long! So gather your friends and families, pack a picnic, and enjoy your favorite flicks in a fun new way.
  5. Memorial Day Pool Party
    Monday | May 27th
    Over at Murphey Candler Pool in Brookhaven, kick off the summer pool season with a water slide, DJ, and refreshments!
  6. Atlanta Jazz Festival
    Saturday – Sunday | May 25th – 26th
    Now celebrating 41 years! Held at Piedmont Park, one of the country’s largest free jazz festivals celebrates jazz legends with show-stopping performances all weekend long! The Artists Market will feature local artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs showcasing their rare and unique work.
  7. Atlanta Brewery Tour
    Saturday | May 25th
    Visit three of Atlanta’s best breweries, starting at the largest brewery in the south, SweetWater Brewing Company for a private tour and tasting. Next, the tour will visit Georgia’s oldest craft brewery, Red Brick Brewing. The final stop will be to Monday Night Brewing, a crowd favorite! Each tour includes round trip transportation from Buckhead, admission and a full pint of beer at each stop, a gift bag, and beer!
  8. Salute Your Troops at Stone Mountain
    Friday – Monday | May 24th – 27th
    Atlanta’s largest Memorial Day celebration lasts for 4 nights, featuring fun-filled adventures for the whole family! The newly extended fireworks and cannon display will dazzle with a choreographed musical tribute honoring our brave troops. Stone Mountain will have all of its current and favorite attractions available, including: Summit Skyride, Geyser Towers, SkyHike, and more!
  9. City of Smyrna Memorial Day Ceremony
    Monday | May 27th
    The ceremony will include six wreaths laid in memory of the fallen. The 116th Army Band, Georgia National Guard, will provide music throughout the ceremony while the 94th Air Lift Command Honor Guard will present the Colors, render Honors and play Taps. The ceremony will feature guest speakers, vintage equipment and car displays, and more.
  10. Roswell Remembers
    Monday | May 27th
    The Largest Memorial Day Ceremony in Georgia will feature music from the Atlanta Wind Symphony & Chattahoochee Celtic Pipes and Drums, a 21-gun salute, and a beautiful commemoration of our nation’s military. BBQ will be available for purchase onsite, so guests are invited to enjoy a picnic onsite following the ceremony
