The dogwoods are in full bloom, which means it’s time for Atlanta’s official kickoff into Spring! The city’s favorite springtime tradition returns with the 84th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

A staple in Atlanta for over 80 years, more than 260 fine artists and hundreds of thousands of visitors will attend the three-day Festival!
2020 Artists Market
With virtually every type of art, the nationally renowned Fine Artist Market is one of the largest and most diverse juried arts festivals in the country. More than 260 artists from around the country exhibit in 12 categories, including: sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, photography, and much more! In 2017, the Artist Market was ranked #8 out of the Top 200 Shows in the Country by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
Backyard Bites & Brews
April 18th – 19th | 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The all-inclusive VIP tasting event is held during the festival. Sample the various flavors of Atlanta’s restaurants, chefs, and caterers as they compete for your vote for Best Bites! Accompanying chef samples, Backyard Bites & Brews will feature sips and swigs from local and craft breweries.
This year’s participating restaurants and breweries include: Cinnaholic, Changemaker Chocolates, City Barbeque, Crab404, Daddy O’Brien’s, Eclipse di Luna, Empire State South, High Road Craft Ice Cream, Pho Cue, Pita – Mediterranean Street Food, Rock’s Chicken & Fries, Simon’s Restaurant, Three Dollar Cafe, Orpheus Brewing, Reformation Brewery, Urban Tree Cidery and Wild Heaven Beer.
Atlanta Dogwood Mimosa 5K
Saturday , April 18th | 8:00 a.m.
On Saturday morning, work up an appetite at the Atlanta Dogwood Mimosa 5K. The run is a Peachtree Road Race Prequalifier and will follow a path through the beautiful neighborhood and park. The 5K culminates in a bubbly and OJ toast in the park accompanied by an onsite DJ to turn runners into revelers.
Live Blues, Southern Rock, Country, Rock, Pop and R&B music will fill the atmosphere with a full schedule of entertainment on the Main Stage. Highlighting the many international communities that live in Atlanta, the International Stage features professional and amateur performers, children and adults with genres including: dance, singing, martial arts, drumming, and more.
- Children can hop over to the Kids Village where they will discover huge inflatables, arts & crafts, face painting, the Giant Wheel, the Grand Carousel, Delta Force, Tilt-a-Whirl, YoYo, and the Fun Slide!
- Even four-legged family members will join the fun! Disc Dogs features designated canines who will wow the audience as they fly through the air in competition.
- The Atlanta High School Art Exhibition gives high school artists an opportunity to compete, exhibit their work and earn prizes such as scholarships and art supplies.
International Village and Stage
Share in the culture and activities presented by the exhibitors in the International Village! On the International Stage, more than 300 professional and amateur performers represent over 20 countries and local community organizations.
In addition to the festival fare located throughout the grounds, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival offers the ticketed VIP food and drink experience Backyard Barbecue & Brews on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy some Southern flare with local craft beers, wine, barbecue, and picnic fare!
