Atlanta Moon Ride
The Atlanta Moon Ride, the first night-cycling event of its kind to come to the city, is back for its 7th annual celebration! Kick off the event with an incredible pre-party followed by a nighttime bike ride.
Event Details: Friday, June 7th, 2019
Festival Pre-Party | 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Ride Begins | 11:00 p.m.
Beginning at Piedmont Park, the ride will continue through Atlanta’s most social, eclectic neighborhoods! The 7-mile night bike ride is a great way to connect with the community while safely exploring the Highlands, Old Fourth Ward, Ponce City Market, and Atlanta Beltline neighborhoods.
The Moon Ride invites riders, bike enthusiasts, and the Atlanta bicycle community to cruise through Atlanta’s neighborhoods and explore the city’s beauty at night! The ADP will be blocking off the Ride’s route, so cyclists can enjoy the ride without the concern of traffic. Gear up your bikes with a headlamp, adorn a fun costume, and join the fun. From street bikes to mountain bikes, and wheelchairs to cruisers, everyone is invited to join the ride and bring the family!
Beneficiary
All proceeds from the event benefit Bert’s Big Adventure, a local nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
