Parade Lineup 3:30 p.m. for 4:00 p.m. Launch

Location
Central

Closed to motorized traffic, the Central route celebrates Atlanta’s Peachtree Street, from South Downtown through the city to Midtown.

Don’t miss out on the last Atlanta Streets Alive of 2018! The fun event celebrates Atlanta’s signature Peachtree street and a 3.1 stretch from Downtown to Midtown, which has been selected as one of the top five neighborhoods in the country by the American Planning Association.

Bicycle Parade

The fun kicks off at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mitchell and Peachtree St. where you can join in the official opening of the street and a parade of the route! Free bike decorations will be available while supplies last.

Following the Downtown parade, make your way through nine neighborhoods and a wealth of interactive experiences hosted by community organizations, local businesses, and event sponsors.

Walk, Bike, Skate, and Roll

Roads will be opened to people on foot, bike, and other human-powered activities. Come take part in the family-friendly fun by biking, skating, walking and rolling down the streets. The free event transforms the streets of Atlanta into a public park open to the community. There is no beginning or end, so hop on in wherever you’d like!

Atlanta Streets Alive is a celebration of what happens on the streets when they are closed off to automobiles and open to people. A favorite among the Atlanta community, the event transforms the streets to make Atlanta a happier, healthier, and more sustainable city.
