Atlanta Streets Alive returns once more to take over the streets of Atlanta – This time, with its longest route yet! Get ready to explore your community streets in a safer, healthier, more livable way at the Atlanta Streets Alive Southwest.

Parade Lineup 1:30 p.m. for 2:00 p.m. Launch
Closed to motorized traffic, the Southwest route connects 7 neighborhoods spanning from Cascade Avenue along Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard to Georgia Avenue.
The fun kicks off at 2:00 p.m. when you can join in the official opening of the street and a parade of the route! Free bike decorations will be available while supplies last.
Following the parade, make your way through nine neighborhoods and a wealth of interactive experiences hosted by community organizations, local businesses, and event sponsors.
Walk, Bike, Skate, and Roll
Roads will be opened to people on foot, bike, and other human-powered activities. Come take part in the family-friendly fun by biking, skating, walking and rolling down the streets. The free event transforms the streets of Atlanta into a public park open to the community. There is no beginning or end, so hop on in wherever you’d like!
Atlanta Streets Alive is a celebration of what happens on the streets when they are closed off to automobiles and open to people. A favorite among the Atlanta community, the event transforms the streets to make Atlanta a happier, healthier, and more sustainable city.
