Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta transforms the Midtown area into a winter wonderland with the sights and sounds of the season at the Children’s Christmas Parade!

Along with a television audience of over 500,000 people, thousands of live spectators will line up for the largest holiday parade in the Southeast! Families will welcome Santa as he makes his grand appearance among floats, giant helium-filled balloons, marching bands, and much more. Unique performances from various groups will also entertain audiences of all ages, and all of your favorite Christmastime characters can be found throughout the morning!
Two individual and unique breakfast events are offered prior to the parade’s start: Breakfast with Santa and the Smiles of the Season Breakfast.

8:30 a.m. | The Four Seasons Atlanta Hotel
Guests will be served a buffet breakfast, enjoy special Christmas crafts, and visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus before they board their sleigh to ride down Peachtree Street. Breakfast with Santa guests will also receive bleacher tickets with their purchase.

8:30 a.m. | Colony Square
Guests will be served a buffet breakfast provided by the Establishment, enjoy special Christmas crafts, and visit with princesses and other Christmas characters! The Center for Puppetry Arts will feature three special presentations. Guests will also receive bleacher tickets with their purchase and a parking voucher for Colony Square.
The Children’s Christmas Parade is free to attend and open to all ages. Bleacher seat tickets are available for purchase at $20 each, and all proceeds benefit the Friends Funding Goals for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Early risers and volunteers arrive to the parade around 8:00 a.m. Spectators should arrive by 8:30 a.m. to get good seats (if you do not purchase bleacher seats). The Midtown and Arts Center stations are located along the Parade route, so attendees are encouraged to take MARTA. Rated parking decks will be open along 14th and 15th Street for drivers attending the parade.
