Day of the Dead | Atlanta History Center

Celebrate and experience Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) with the Atlanta History Center! With free admission, guests will enjoy a day of traditional dancing, crafts, and authentic Mexican food and entertainment.

Presented in partnership with the Consul General of Mexico and the Institute of Mexican Culture, the Day of the Dead Festival will help visitors of all ages learn about the traditional holiday. The outdoor festival features traditional dancing, crafts, and authentic Mexican food and entertainment!

Guests may continue their Free Admission Day by exploring the historic houses, strolls through the gardens and trails, and a variety of exhibits and experiences! A display of altars will also be decorated with flowers, favorite foods, and beverages in honor of lost family and friends.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day.
