The City of Dunwoody presents its favorite Mother’s Day tradition with the Dunwoody Art Festival!
May 12th – 13th, 2017
Saturday | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The 8th annual celebration transforms Dunwoody Village Parkway into a shoppers’ paradise with a whimsical artists market, featuring arts and crafts and a variety of artwork for sale.
Top artists from around the country will showcase craft pieces, including: photography, paintings, and folk art alongside artwork made from clay, fiber, glass, metal, and wood.
Pick up a special gift for Mother’s Day from one of the many jewelers offering unique handmade pieces!
During the fun family-friendly event, children will enjoy great rides, sand art, imaginative crafts and games at the Kidz Zone. Kids can get their faces painted, hop on over to the slides and high-flying rides, and burn off energy on the inflatables. The Purple Hippo returns for children to participate in a creative sand art station and a “paint your own pottery” table among other fun art & craft activities!
Various singers and entertainers will delight the crowd with performances on the main stage, which will feature continuous music throughout the day.
This year’s food court will feature delicious fare from local restaurants where families can eat, relax, and recharge before venturing back out for that special piece of art to take home.
Chairs For Charity
Children from local Dunwoody and other DeKalb County schools have decorated and painted several chairs that will be on display and auctioned off at the festival. The highest bidder will win the decorative chair of their choice, and the proceeds from the auction go towards art programs at the participating schools. The auction closes at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, and winners will be able to take home their chair at that time.
