With the children out of school for the 2017 Summer break, parents may not always be able to take as much time to enjoy with their little ones. Dunwoody Nature Center has the perfect solution to keep your children active, happy, and engaged – all while learning about everything nature has to offer!
At the Dunwoody Nature Center 2017 Summer Camp, children will enjoy exploring a variety of Camp Themes each week. From Wilderness Adventures at Island Fort, to a Reptile Roundup, Jeeper’s Creepers, Forest Adventures, Creek Weeks, and Builders Quests, and more, kids will enjoy endless age-appropriate fun!
Throughout each session, campers will also participate in nature themed crafts, science experiments, activities, trail exploration, games, and outdoor play! Lunch and snack time will also be provided.
In addition to appealing to all learning styles, the Camp’s teachers are adult professional educators with extensive backgrounds in science, environmental education and art. A staff member trained in CPR and First Aid is on site at all times.
