Designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr., the park’s landscape provides a picturesque backdrop to such an artistic festival. We have you covered with the highlights!
ART
The annual arts and crafts festival features displays of fine arts and crafts, folk art, and “outsider art” from over 125 of the best regional and national artists. An incredible variety of media will be showcased by the festival’s artists, including: pottery, jewelry, fine art and paintings, woodwork, glassware, metal, fiber, and photography prints among other handmade items, fine vintage pieces, and baked goods.
ENTERTAINMENT
In addition to the fine arts, festival-goers will be treated to live entertainment, a children’s zone, and the very best local food! Over at the greenspace area, local performers will provide live acoustic music for a relaxing environment as guests browse through the festival’s markets.
FUN FOR KIDS
In past years, the children’s area has featured: fun crafts, games and activities, inflatable rides, and endless fun on the playground!
FOOD & BEVERAGES
Food and beverage vendors will be plentiful throughout the festival, offering everything from festival classics like funnel cake and bacon-wrapped treats to options for the most health-conscious of festival-goers. Guests 21 and up are invited to enjoy many of the wine and beer selections available, and additional non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided from the festival vendors.
The Festival on Ponce is a rain-or-shine event organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces.
