Free Entrance Days in National Parks

With free admittance to all National Parks, Veteran’s Day Weekend is the perfect time to celebrate all that America’s beautiful parks have to offer!

When
November 11th – 12th, 2017

All National Park Service entrance fees will be waived in honor of the National Park Service Centennial this past year.

In the start of its 2nd century, be part of America’s largest celebration of national heritage! It’s about making great connections, exploring amazing places, discovering open spaces, enjoying affordable vacations, and enhancing America’s best idea—the national parks! It’s all happening in your national parks.

Fee-free days make national parks accessible to more people. What better way to celebrate the start of a second century than to get outdoors?

The fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. All other fees are not included unless stated otherwise.

Throughout the week, many parks will also host Every Kid in a Park events, which encourage fourth grade students to visit national parks and other public lands by offering a free annual pass. Active duty military and citizens with a permanent disability can also get free passes.
