Friday Jazz returns to the High Museum of Art for an entirely new twist on your favorite musical experience – This month, featuring music in two locations throughout the Museum! Not your typical Friday Jazz, enjoy an inspired performance from Joe Gransden.

Relax with a cold cocktail, explore the museum’s permanent collections, and enjoy the incredible variety of jazz from straight ahead to free jazz, bebop to swing, and more.
The immersive experience will feature local talents layering notes, improvising melodies, and drawing on inspiration from jazz history.
Based upon CDC guidance, face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated visitors.
August’s Artist: Joe Gransden
Band leader Joe Gransden has performed worldwide and released sixteen albums. Renowned first for the hard bop approach of his trumpet, Joe’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra.
