‘Tis the Season! The 13th annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights returns to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens with a holiday tradition that is perfect for faithful friends, a date night, or a night out with the whole family!

Atlanta’s favorite holiday tradition is back! Experience crowd favorites and some new surprises in store, including:

  • A 144-foot-long wintery white skynet by Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics, whose work was featured during 2021’s SUPERnatural exhibition.
  • A larger flock of illuminated metal birds and deer by Cédric Le Borgne in the Anne Cox Chambers Garden.
  • The return of White Rabbit to the Skyline Garden pond, the first glimpse of the Garden’s Alice’s Wonderland mosaiculture exhibition, which returns with new installations in 2024.
  • All-new music and choreography for Nature’s Wonders, the world’s largest curtain of light.

ABG Garden Lights Holiday NightsThe Atlanta Botanical Garden will be shimmering and sparkling with every color of the rainbow, giving the Garden’s 30 acres a spectacular light show with over 1 million energy-efficient lights! Cozy up with a warm beverage while taking in the holiday glow glittering throughout the gardens – and be sure to commemorate the occasion with a stop at the Garden Gift Shop!

Tour favorites such as Skylights Lounge in the Skyline Garden, the Ice Goddess, Tunnel of Light, Orchestral Orbs on the Great Lawn, Radiant Rainforest, Model Trains, and more!

Dining

Come for the show and stay for dinner! With timed reservations, Longleaf Restaurant will be open during Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. Enjoy table service and premier views of the the Atlanta skyline as you dine! Other food options include: 

  • Quick Café
    Order soup, sandwiches and more from the counter in the back of the restaurant.
  • Snack Bar
    Grab a snack, warm drinks and beer/wine from the stand near the Kiss Me Arch.
  • S’mores Station
    Get a kit and cook your own holiday delights on fire pits on the Twinkling Terrace.
