Inman Park Restaurant Guide

Inman Park has many of the best restaurants and bars in Atlanta with more than 70 in walking distance!

Here is our personal guide to some of our favorites restaurants in Inman Park and the Beltline.

BoccaLupo – This Italian American option is located on Edgewood Avenue and offers handmade pasta, seasonal menu items and flavorful bites that pair perfectly with a glass of wine or curated cocktail served at the bar or tableside. Although their menu changes seasonally, some of our favorites include the Marsala Glazed Octopus for starters, the Black Spaghetti or Southern Fried Chicken Parm for the main entree and the Snickerdoodle and Double Chocolate cookies for a sweet after-dinner treat.

MF Sushi –  Easily one of Atlanta’s best sushi restaurants, and our personal favorite, MF Sushi is located in the heart of Inman Park. MF actually stands for “Magic Fingers”, after the chef’s hard-earned nickname. In addition to top notch sushi, MF also serves up  the atmosphere with exotic  lighting, moody decor and carefully curated tunes for the ultimate dining experience.  You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you aren’t feeling the raw options, they have a great Robata Grill menu. When in doubt, we recommend their Omakase Chef’s Choice. The phrase, meaning “I’ll leave it up to you” in Japanese, is a culinary experience that offers the chef’s best options and the restaurant’s freshest ingredients.

Char – This Korean Bar and Grill is a trendy, elegant dining experience in the heart of Inman Park. Their menu is far from boring, and the flavors and spices are aromatic from the moment you enter the space. Their Anju, or appetizers, are your first taste of the cuisine, and the Korean Meatballs, Korean Street Corn or the Korean Street Tacos are some of the best we’ve had. From there, find yourself diving into the Junmun portion, which includes Rice Bowls, a Hot Pot, Sweet Potato Noodles, Kimchi Mac and Cheese and a Char-Grilled BBQ Chicken Salmon – yum! There’s also grill options, including beef, premium beef, pork, vegetarian options, shrimp and grill combos. Dessert is also tasty – you must try the Tres Leche Bread Pudding!

The Albert – When you lookup “neighborhood watering hole” in the dictionary, you find a picture of The Albert. A longtime local favorite known for it’s great burgers, legendary smoked wings, and a friendly bar to pull up and watch a game. From winning a top 10 Best Burger in Atlanta to being voted in previous years as the Best Neighborhood Bar in Creative Loafing, there’s something for everyone at The Albert.

Bread and Butterfly – a whimsical café & bistro located in the heart of Inman Park. This street style cafe features a beautiful dining room and porch with steel doors that open to Elizabeth Street for all the feels.  Bread & Butterfly is a place to enjoy a cappuccino and perfect croissant, a decadent seasonal breakfast or lunch, or a bistro-style dinner in the evening. Bread & Butterfly also features a unique wine, beer and cocktail list and decadent dessert selections.

Delbar – Where to begin with Delbar?! Popular Middle Eastern restaurant serving delicious food in a trendy, lively atmosphere. You wouldn’t be disappointed if you closed your eyes and selected an option off the menu, but let’s run through some of our favorites just in case you aren’t feeling so spontaneous. The spreads and sauces make this place special, and they can be added to any entree, which are served a la carte. The hummus, dill labneh, spicy tahina and kashk bademjoon can be spread across any meat or appetizer, in our opinion, but explore the full menu for what you think pairs best with your dish of choice. The meats are fresh and tender, especially the duck, lamb belly and chicken kabob. If you’d prefer something greener, the kale salad, polo sefio or lubia polo are some of our suggestions. Their drink menu is almost as long as their food menu, so don’t overlook the cocktails poured fresh at the bar.

FolkArt – We couldn’t wrap up this list without finishing with a staple brunch spot in the park. The Southern Comfort food at Folk Art will have you feeling satisfied days after your meal. They’ve even been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, so let’s take a look at the menu ourselves. If you don’t start a meal with fried green tomatoes, you’re missing out on what makes Southern Comfort one of our favorite categories. You may also choose the pimento cheese dip or grit fritters from the appetizer list. Burgers and sandwiches are a-plenty, including the Craft 5 Grilled Cheese, fried chicken sandwich and the Shrimp Po’ Boy. Salads are tasty, too, and so are the Yum Entrees, including the steak and eggs, Huevos Rancheros, pancakes and the Foul Play, which includes fried chicken and a housemade Belgian sweet potato waffle topped with whiskey-peach compote.
