Reptile Day | Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Come face-to-face and interact with live snakes, tortoises, lizards, and many more at Fernbank Museum’s Reptile Day! The popular annual event will feature interactive learning activities with live reptiles and amphibians throughout the day.

Live Reptile Displays
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Great Hall

Featuring Fernbank Museum educators, as well as displays from:

  • American Reptile Association
  • Chris and Tim Smith, Atlanta Reptile Jungle
  • Georgia DNR, Wildlife Resources Division
  • Georgia Reptile Society
  • The Amphibian Foundation

11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. | Frances Wood Wilson Theater (Limited Seating)

Fernbank educators will feature cool critters from the Museum’s live animal collection in these special presentations.

For the safety of guests and animals, touch opportunities are strictly limited to guests ages 4 and older and available at the discretion of the handlers.
