Inman Park Homes
About Inman Park
Inman Park is a highly desirable Intown neighborhood situated along the premier section of the Atlanta Beltline, and just minutes from both Downtown and Midtown Atlanta. Inman Park is well known for its gorgeous tree-lined streets, pocket parks that flow throughout the neighborhood, and beautifully restored homes. Inman Park also offers a walkable lifestyle that most only dream about. You can truly park your car in the garage and leave it for the weekend!
Housing options range from historic Victorian and Queen Anne mansions, to charming bungalows, foursquares and craftsman style homes. Along the Atlanta Beltline and surrounding the commercial district you will also find a mix of condos and townhomes.
Considered Atlanta’s ‘First Planned Neighborhood’, Inman Park has a rich history that’s still very much on display today. Originally designed in the late 1800’s as a “rural oasis” from the hustle and bustle of downtown, it was connected by the city’s new electric streetcar line. Today, that streetcar is gone, but the welcoming retreat from busy city life is alive and thriving!
Fun Fact: The neighborhood gets its name from Samuel Inman (1843 – 1915) who was known as the “first citizen of Atlanta”
