The evening includes exclusive after-hours access to Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. The exhibition spotlights work by Black artists across geographies, including twentieth-century legends such as Nick Cave and Lorna Simpson and artists of a younger generation, such as Deana Lawson and Amy Sherald, who are expanding the legacies of those who came before them. After exploring the galleries, savor wine from Black-owned wineries and Black winemakers, who will introduce and pair wine selections with works from the exhibition. Meet Whitney Blue: Atlanta’s Wine Consultant and Educator
Whitney Blue, an Atlanta-based wine consultant with Prime Wine and Spirits, is making waves in the wine and spirits industry. A former wine educator at Vinoteca in Inman Park, Whitney has shared her expertise as a panelist at SommCon events in both San Diego and Atlanta, where she has championed BIPOC representation in the industry.
Wine enthusiasts may also recognize her from the television series Married to Medicine, where she showcased her talents as a wine educator. A 2010 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in English creative writing, Whitney combines her storytelling skills with her passion for wine, creating unique and engaging wine experiences for clients and audiences alike.
