Mardi Gras Streetcar Adventure

Enjoy an afternoon of Mardi Gras-themed exploration and adventure around Atlanta at the Mardi Gras Streetcar Adventure!

The 3rd annual event will feature 11 participating local bars, restaurants, and attractions with plenty of fun along the way! Using the Atlanta Streetcar, guests will tour the Atlanta historical district of Edgewood Ave, Fairly Poplar District, and Centennial Olympic Park.

7 Ways to Commemorate MLK Day Around Atlanta

Martin Luther King Day is a day of remembrance, celebration, and commemoration.

We have you covered with all the happenings around Atlanta in honor of the national Martin Luther King Jr. holiday: January 15th, 2018.

  1. MLK Day 5K
    Not only does the race celebrate MLK Jr. Day, but Atlanta area schools, churches, community organizations and businesses are able to use the race as a fundraiser for their community-oriented initiatives. $5 of each registration from an approved organization will be returned to that organization for use in community efforts of its choice. Drummers every 50 meters will give the race a unique vibe that will transform the 3.1 miles into fast parade.  Just think…drummers will keep the beat as you streak through the Park! The 5K walk/run is a USATF certified 5K race course and a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.
