Save the dates as the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival returns for its 18th season!

Bring One for the Chipper

Now that Christmas is over and you start to take the decorations down, you may think to yourself,  “What am I going to do with this tree?”It’s time to Bring One for the Chipper!

Instead of placing the tree on the curb (which will eventually end up in a landfill), bring it to one of the several “Bring One for the Chipper” tree recycling events. This annual Georgia Christmas tree recycling program has recycled almost

Johns Creek Fall Family Festival

Johns Creek Fall Family FestivalThe Johns Creek Fall Family Festival returns for another day of Fall fun for the entire family!

Saturday | October 28th, 2017
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Newton Park
3150 Old Alabama Rd.
Johns Creek, GA 30022

The main soccer field at Newtown Park will be host to all of the activities including music, games, and arts & crafts! There will also be plenty of carnival games for the kids to play, a moonwalk, giant slide, and obstacle courses. Vendor booths will also be set up with food, and arts and crafts for other entertainment.

Over at the “Touch-a-truck” area, kids can get an up-close view of bulldozers, backhoes, public safety vehicles and other exciting machines used for projects, such as road improvements and traffic signal operations.

With Summer winding down, you won’t want to miss the final Johns Creek Farmers Market of the season! The market opens at 8:30 a.m. and will feature all the regular market favorites, goods, and samples. Come browse a wide range of sustainable and gourmet treats including French breads and pastries, unique preserves, gourmet popsicles, and handmade bath and body products.  Be sure to arrive early for the best pick of fruits and vegetables!

The Fall Family Festival is free and open to the public.
