This year may look a little different, but there are plenty of ways to get festive all month long. From family-friendly activities to virtual events and everything in between, we have you covered with all the highlights!

Lace up your shoes for a great cause at the St. Jude Walk/Run Atlanta! Now fully virtual this year, you can continue help St. Jude to end childhood cancer from the comfort of your own treadmill or neighborhood.

The nationwide 5K includes an interactive St. Jude campus experience.
Register for the 5K Walk or Run, create a team (or join an existing one), then start fundraising for St. Jude! What better time than Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to make an impact? And at St. Jude, no family ever sees a bill for anything.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade has been postponed for 2021.
Even while social distancing, you can help spread joy across the city in a unique way with the Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade-in-Place! This year’s festivities are a great way to celebrate creativity and build community while keeping Atlanta safe
Map & Locations Kicking off the week, the map will be published on Monday, September 21st. A digital map will contain live updates on where to see the best lantern light displays! Walk, bike, or drive around town to get involved throughout the weekend.

Lace up your running shoe for a great cause and join The Marcus Center as they partner with Autism Speaks for Atlanta’s Autism Speaks Walk! Given the current concerns for everyone’s health and safety, this year offers a virtual option in addition to a drive-in style event!
It’s time to bid adieu to summer – but with a twist- at the Grant Park Summer Shade unFestival! Keeping the health and safety of everyone in mind, this year’s event is mixing things up while still bringing the art, music, and food the Atlanta community has come to love over the past 19 years.
Instead of a single afternoon or weekend in the park, supporters of the Grant Park Conservancy can enjoy an entire “Season” of the Summer Shade unFestival!
The season will kick off on August 2nd with the opening of race registration in addition to sales for raffle tickets, t-shirts, and wine!

By embracing the unFestival in 2021, the in-person event can return in 2022 bigger and better than ever! Proceeds from this year’s event still benefit the Grant Park Conservancy, the organization responsible for maintaining the city’s oldest park.
Esteemed guests include by interior designer Charlotte Moss of New York, New York; landscape designer Fernando Wong of Miami, Florida; and floral designer Paulina Nieliwocki from Blue Jasmine Floral in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Each event requires advance registration.
