2024 Atlanta Science Festival Celebrates 11 Years!
With over 150 events across Atlanta – Plus one BIG PARTY at Piedmont Park – the Atlanta Science Festival is back! Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the two-week festival is a celebration of local science and technology, bringing curious minds of all ages together each Spring.

Join experts from local museums, schools, and companies to explore the region’s science and technology! Through a variety of performances, interactive activities, exciting presentations, and facility tours, scientists and educators will help you connect to science through all parts of life. Uncover the mysteries in science as you experience the community of science enthusiasts – and maybe even help inspire a new generation of critical thinkers!
Exciting events include activities for even the youngest scientists (even superheroes love science!), interactive nights out for adults, opportunities to participate in essential research studies, and engaging workshops. Bring the knowledge home, explore topics from animation to animals – and everything in between! The 2024 Festival offers enriching, exciting fun for all ages and interests.

Atlanta Science Festival is engineered by Science ATL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing people together through the wonder of science. Striving to expand access to science learning opportunities for all in metro Atlanta, the racial/ethnic diversity among Festival attendees closely matches that of the metro Atlanta region. The Festival reaches a wide variety of ages, with 50% of attendees aged 25-44 (not including those under 14 years old, who were not surveyed).
