Scarecrows in the Garden
Through November 3rd
Handcrafted by individuals, schools, organizations, and even Garden Members, these scarecrows are spooky, fun, and everything in between! These whimsical and wild scarecrows now compete for prizes in two divisions: professional and nonprofessional. Be sure to discover your own personal favorite at one of the Botanical Garden’s seasonal events!
Goblins in the Garden
Sunday | October 20th
Treat your youngest goblins to a day of Halloween fun at Goblins in the Garden! The festive event will offer pony rides, fall-themed crafts, storytelling, a Ride-on-Train, pumpkin decorating, and more.
Fest-of-Ale
Thursdays through Saturdays in October
Celebrate the harvest season with Fest-of-Ale at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens every Thursday – Saturday in October! With live music and a selection of seasonal beers, you can experience the Atlanta Botanical Gardens after-hours unlike ever before!
Member Fall Evening
Monday | October 21st
Bring a flashlight to tour 100 Scarecrows in the Garden as the gardens get dark, enjoy live music, and bring the kids along for some children’s activities and delicious food! Festivities include crafts, harvest activities, live music, hundreds of pumpkins and colorful leaves, Scarecrows in the Garden, and more! Longleaf will be open for dinner, and the Quick Cafe will be serving up snacks. Guest passes also accepted!
Garden Spooktacular Day Camp
Monday – Tuesday | October 14th – 15th
Join along for a bewitching camp full of mystical explorations and mischievous adventures. The 2-day camp costs $150/child ($130 Members).
Great Pumpkin-Carving Festival
Thursday | October 24th
One of Atlanta’s favorite fall traditions, The Great Pumpkin-Carving Festival returns with live music, handcrafted cocktails, cookie classes, face painting, festival fare and more – all the makings of a wonderful autumn evening in the Garden. Costumes welcome!
Fall Family Fun
Saturdays & Sundays in October
Each weekend throughout the month of october, Fall-themed activities will delight youngsters of all ages!
Fabulous Fall Treats Day Camp
Monday – Tuesday | November 25th – 26th
Celebrate this beautiful and delicious season by making an autumn themed snack each day and marveling at the amazing changes taking place as animals and plants prepare for winter. Registration is $170/child ($150 Members).
