Kick off the new month with August’s event, which will explore how methods of brewing and bootlegging impact the way we drink.

AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS

7:00 p.m. – Dusk
Explore Fernbank’s newest addition, WildWoods, featuring outdoor exhibits, highline trails, elevated tree pods and interactive nature experiences.

7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
See how methods of brewing and bootlegging impact the way we drink.

7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
All indoor exhibits open for self-guided tours, including the new exhibit, FOOD: Our Global Kitchen.

7:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m.
Oceans: Our Blue Planet 3D in the Giant Screen Theater (requires separate ticket).

8:30 p.m.
Earthflight 3D in the Giant Screen Theater (requires separate ticket)

9:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Live music by Chelsea Shag, winner of Creative Loafing’s Best Local Mainstream Act, Song and Music Video. Blending elements of rock, jazz, soul and pop, the rising act has developed a sound that is entirely her own.
