In addition to the beloved Garden Lights, Holiday Nights spectacular display, there are plenty of ways to festive through the end of the year – all in one place! Come get your jolly on with the 2024 Holiday Happenings at Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Holiday Model Train Show
November 18th – January 14th
Take a journey around the holiday model train garden! G-scale choo choo trains and a holiday trolley chug along six tracks in an imaginary, beautifully planted mountain landscape. They emerge from tunnels, cross bridges over rippling water, and soar across trestles. Small towns, train stops, and other structures dot the landscape.

Botanical Saint Nick

Ride-On-Train
Saturdays – Sundays | November 16th– January 5th
All aboard The Botanical Express! The popular children’s Ride-on-Train is set to depart on a journey in the Garden. $5 per passenger, $3 for members. Watch in delight as the trains emerge from tunnels, cross bridges over rippling lake, and soar across trestle bridges. Small towns, train stops, a holiday workshop and other unique features dot the landscape.

Botanical Saint Nick
Saturdays | November 30th – December 21st
Botanical Saint Nick is making a list and checking it twice! Bring your camera and come meet the big guy adorned in green. 

Carols in the Garden
Saturdays | December 7th – 21st
Enjoy festive holiday music sung by Atlanta’s premier carolers, the Tinseltones!
